Why build another cookie consent tool?
Privacy tools already existed when I started QookieQloud — and that's exactly the problem I kept running into. The available platforms were either enterprise systems with pricing to match, clunky WordPress plugins that felt tacked on, or black-box SaaS products that hid what they were actually doing to your visitors' data.
As a developer who builds sites on Statamic, Shopify and WordPress, I got tired of recommending tools I didn't fully trust myself. I wanted something that was transparent about its cookie scanning, genuinely integrated with Google Consent Mode v2, and simple enough that a small agency or a solo founder could deploy it in minutes — not days.
So I built it. QookieQloud started as an internal tool at Qodli and became a product when clients kept asking to use it on their own sites. The goal has always been the same: make real privacy compliance feel effortless, not like a chore you do to avoid fines.
